Forres Mechanics are delighted to announce the signing of Cohen Ramsay from Buckie Thistle FC!
Cohen has put pen to paper on a three-year deal subject to SFA approval. Cohen offers Steven MacDonald an array of options across our left-hand side.
MacDonald spoke of his delight with the arrival of Ramsay, he said:
“At 25 years old Cohen’s got a lot of Highland league experience and good quality left sided players are very hard to come by.
He’s an athletic fit lad who we are really looking forward to having at Forres.”
Ramsay won a league championship medal with Buckie Thistle in season 23/24 and featured off the bench in Buckie’s Scottish Cup visit to Celtic Park.
He had previously enjoyed 5 years at Nairn County having come through the Ross County youth system.
Cohen marks our second addition of the summer following the capture of goalkeeper Sean McCarthy.
