Forres Mechanics FC are excited to announce the signing of Thomas Bremner from New Elgin Football Club on a 3-year deal.
The 20-year old centre half will join up with the Can-Cans in the summer, having been loaned back to New Elgin for the remainder of the current season.
Manager Steven MacDonald had this to say upon securing Thomas’ signature: “We are delighted to sign Thomas, having monitored him for a couple of seasons and seeing him progressing well. He has a good physical presence given his age and he did very well for us recently as a trialist against Turriff United.”
Thomas, who came through the youth setup at Elgin City before moving into the junior leagues, is looking forward to making the step up to the Highland League: “I’m buzzing to get started and can see a good future at Forres having been wanting to make the step up for a while. I feel this is the club that can help me and hopefully bring success along the way.”
