Forres Mechanics FC are delighted to announce the signing of Ryan McRitchie pending both FIFA and SFA approval.
The defender signs on for the Cans Cans having recently spent time playing football in Australia and arrives with a very good pedigree, coming through the ranks at Inverness Caledonian Thistle and then gaining valuable HFL Experience at Huntly and Rothes where he scored the winner in the 2021 North of Scotland Cup final.
Manager Steven MacDonald said ‘When I heard Ryan had returned from a successful spell of playing football in Australia, I was desperate to sign him because I know what he can give. He is a big strong lad and is a very good footballer who is comfy on the ball. He’s at a good age at 24 with plenty Highland League experience and it’s a massive boost for everyone to get Ryan in with us’.
