‘Cans legend Stuart “Knighty” Knight has made the move to Victoria Park following 16 years with Forres Mechanics FC to seek a new challenge ⚽️
Knighty made his debut in July 2007 after signing from Elgin City FC and gained his legendary status as an integral part of the 2011-2012 league winning squad. He also reached the landmark of 500 appearances for the club last season in our home match against Huntly – coincidentally the club he made his debut against. He was also rightly awarded a testimonial in 2018….and who can forget his equalising goal in the Scottish Cup in 2017 against Lossiemouth FC! 🥅
Knighty has been a fantastic servant to the club and it speaks volumes that he is still considered one of the best goalkeepers in the Highland League by his peers 🧤
